The Louisiana Nursery & Landscape Association held there annual membership meeting, breakfast and awards program on January 20, 2011 in Mobile, AL. At this meeting, Bob Thibodeaux was awarded with the Distinguished Service Award by the Louisiana Nursery and Landscape Association for his long time contributions to the arboricultural industry in Louisiana, but primarily for his “Acorns of Hope” project. This award has been presented since 1984 to only 9 other people, making Bob Thibodeaux the 10th person in 27 years to ever receive this award.
